Neon Heroes
Illuminated Dreams
PMQ Central
29 June to 7 July, 2025
12pm to 8pm
The exhibition

This summer, witness Hong Kong's neon heritage reimagined as Neon Heroes: Illuminated Dreams transforms PMQ's Courtyard & Marketplace into a radiant celebration of art and heroism. From 29 June to 7 July 2025, explore six interactive neon sculptures by emerging artist Jerry Loo, created in a rare three-generational collaboration with his grandfather, Master Wong – Hong Kong’s most senior neon craftsman.
Each artwork breathes new life into traditional craftsmanship, fusing neon artistry with contemporary superhero inspiration. Step into the glow: pose with dynamic installations, capture luminous moments, and discover your own inner hero.
The experience culminates with Neon Waltz, an animated tribute to Master Wong's extraordinary journey and Hong Kong's neon golden age. More than an exhibition, Neon Heroes is a living dialogue between past and present – where heritage sparks innovation, and every visitor becomes part of the story.
